It is so fun to see the beauty of the earth around me that every day feels like new birth. I always reserve a special joy for Easter, since it brings so many childhood memories of hiding eggs we colored in pastel hues, of real life rabbits that nibble in the lawn and of the fun of Easters past and happy faces. We would hide eggs all day, long after the grownups had gone inside. We just loved the mystery.
I love the trees that put on their lovely blossom garb and soft lemony-green leaves. I love the coolness of the evening air and the brightness of the new grass. Girls in dresses and soft little hats mixed with memories of huge chocolate bunnies and those brightly colored candy eggs. MMM!
The best thing of all the thought of the foreverness of Easter, getting to be happy with Jesus all the rest of my life and the rest of forever. Wow!! Talk about sunshine and blue skies.
