Browsing today at EverythingEtsy.com's blog I found a post about the craft studio owned by French designer living in Devon England of ThreeRedApples at Etsy.com. I fell in love with the beautiful and tender little bits made there. My favorites are the See The World series and the little birds and chicks. These are effortless chic and so cute. I love the whimsical and gentle nature of these creations and the recycled soft fabrics and trims. I found pouches, baby shower gifts, pilllows, bags and blankets. I know you'll want to go check it out, so here is a link to www.ThreeRedApples.etsy.com. Fall in love!
I have a love of skirts made of pure cotton sheeting. I love the way it feels around your legs as you move and the way the wind passes through it to cool your legs. I had a lovely heathered navy sheeting that I recycled into a skirt. I added a beautiful serged freeform ruffle and a slipon waistband for comfort. It makes for the perfect fall skirt...cool enough for uncertain warm afternoons and warm on cool mornings over tights or boots. Add layers of cami and rumpled jacket and you have the quintessntial fall feel good outfit. I gave it a brighter blue batik print free form sash for changing it around.
I love the fun tops and other clothing at Tangente's etsy shop. My favorites are the recycled scarf tops! They are so classy and have a cool European flair. Her dresses are unabashedly chic and feminine with adorable ruffle trim and polka dots! I love to see what new things Tangente has come up with each time I pop in! You'll find yourself doing the same thing, I'll bet! Tangente is a top destination for my mouse!!
