Summer is Here!!

I'm busy making summer things...before I switch madly into fall mode...!

Ahhh...the life of fashion designers...always a season ahead...or in my case about a half season ahead...since I'm always behind a bit :0

I am starting to make some cute little summer tops perfect for throwing on over shorts or a swimsuit to drive to the beach or lake.  Here's  just one...more to come!

Ah..summer! The joys of flipflops and jean shorts or skirts and strappy sandals!!! Sunburns and swimsuits full of sand :) Yep, summer's coming. Are you ready for summer's heat and humiity?? I love the soft sunshine and breezes! I'm making things for spring and summer and getting ready right now!!

Where've I been?

Good question :) This has been an unusual summer, with me out of the house and in some of the most remote, rustic locations and unable to blog, or sew or lots of other things.

One thing I have done is make a few odds and ends of things and take pictures. Here are a few. I always forget my camera when I'm in these delightfully remote places, but then we live in a fairly remote, delightful place. So these are 'round the yard' photos.
