End of Summer
I am amazed when it gets to be the end of summer. I can feel the chillier evenings and see the plants begin to dial down for fall. I miss summer already! I love the fun new things that begin to appear though, like these seed pods getting ready for next year.

Black Eyed Susans
We have lots of the flower Black Eyed Susans growing in this area, in several varieties, it seems. I picked up some from one of my remote visits and planted it in my yard a year ago or so. Here is a pic of some of it growing against the background of one of my butterfly bushes.
