I like making things. I especially like making things when I'm not sure how it'll turn out. That is part of the adventure! Sometimes I make things just because I see two colors together and want to find out how I'll like them in something next to each other. Sometimes I make something that is inspired by a feeling or an idea. Often I make things based on a romantic notion or a fleeting thought. Often design is turned by fleeting thoughts, like wondering how a collar would look changed to be further apart or off center. Or wondering if it would look better in a contrasting polkadot fabric. I make things for love. Selling it or someone else loving it gives an echoing thrill
to the first joy of finding something new and wonderful coming together. I think when I make things I love and they delight me and I'm crazy about how it came out that that must be a tiny part of how much joy God takes in us and His creation. We really thrill Him. How cool!
