Who am I making it all for?

I had the most refreshing weekend. It is amazing how much I have been living still looking to please others more than creating out of love. I am working on trying to create out of a purer sense of joy and playfulness.

Sometimes we are afraid to be unique when really that's all we can be truly good at. We can be poor copies of another person's ability or 'eyes'. The only thing we have that is really us and which can't be stolen is how we 'see'. Only we can be the unique set of responses and views that is us.

I think living to please others is the most tiring and unrewarding thing in the world. Now I want to explore what it is I want to create. What is really joyful and pleasing to me, or to God? That is where I want to explore. What am I created to do, to see, to respond to , to make? That way lies true fulfillment and bliss.
