Summer slips sweetly past !

I have just a few more favorites from my 'out of communication backlog'. Most of these are from Anthropologie, with some shoes from Isabella Bird and a few odds and ends from elsewhere. I'm still thinking late summer here, as the weather is still often in the 90's. I've been enjoying the more relaxed beach casual style here at the coast and getting lots of great ideas for designs. I've gotten settled and have rearranged my studio a couple of times for greater workability. I have a few designs almost completed...several of which I'll post here soon. When's the last time you said Wahoo!!

Wahoo is how I feel when spring arrives and summer is almost upon us and I'm shifting winter clothes to the storage and rediscovering summer clothes I forgot that I had. I also find things I've needed to replace or that don't fit. At about this point I realize I need to make some things to wear!! I need skirts and a few jackets for wearing in airconditioned restaurants and theatres, etc. I always find I need new shoes and a new bag too!! Ah, spring.. the joys and the struggles. Thankfully, I haven't had to do any thinking yet about swimsuits!!!

I did however make a few more skirts...and an apron, as they are the perfect wardrobe waker upper. I like to pair them with summer's white tees or with a cute camisole or tank top and flip flops or sandals. This year I'd love some with ankle straps!!
